Bidra med feedbackWe were in Mussomeli to visit with my extended Sicilian family. After a brief tour of Mussomeli we were driven to this agriturismo for a late lunch all I can say is Wow. The food just keeps on coming and its delicious authentic Sicilian food. We sat and reconnected for almost for hours while indulging on great food and local wine. We had a great experience in this restaurant.
We were recommended this AgriTurismo restaurant, as serving authentic rustic Sicilian food and got our neighbour who spoke Italian and English to book it for us. We knew it was between Mussomeli and Sutera, but finding it on a switchback country road in the pouring rain and at night was not for the fainthearted and we nearly gave up on it. Eventually found it up a dirt path, and when we entered, all the lights were out. Nearly walked out, but they were turned on and we were made welcome with the local russo wine excellent. Set in a converted old barn, with thick stone walls, we had antipasta della casa, which was beautiful, but enormous, and then much to my wife's delight liver and onions and tripe. This was followed by the main course, by which time we were full!. Upto half way through the meal, we had the place to ourselves, but the a large Italian family turned up about 9pm, and made it more convivial. Certainly worth the effort and as most of these country restaurants fairly cheap and good value
