Double Dog Ice Cream Eats - Calais

The fish here is perfection. Great service nice people. The ice cream ain't bad either.

Had lunch at Double Dog Ice Cream Eats in Calais today. Anybody who knows me knows I am particular about food. The Haddock burger at this place is the best I have ever had hands down. The batter is perfect light very crispy and flavorful. The fish itself was cooked to perfection as well light flaky and delicious. I will be eating here in the future. The best part this oceanic perfection is only 6 bucks! There are places selling a Haddock burger for twice that that are not half as good.

I was in several times and can highly recommend the fish and chips and the shain’s eis is on par with giffords, my usual favorit.

I had the double dog special, 1 chili , 1 bacon and cheese. Both were excellent! Got some fries that we're golden and crisp,not greasy! Wished I saved room for dessert!

Great ice cream! My family and I enjoyed talking to the young girl who works there (and her two little boys).
