Vegetariano El Eden - Cajamarca

Queríamos comer algo saludable, y Edén estaba cerca de nosotros. Nos dieron el menú del día que por el precio era muy razonable. El único problema es que no se molestaron en calentarlo. Así que no era cálido. Teníamos que pedirle al servidor que lo recalentara.

I've eaten three times here and I'd say that food is simple, but good. I am here during the Covid-19 quarantine so that the restaurant is currently only taking offers. When it reopens for regular business, it seems to seats inside for about 20 people. The meal of the day costs 6 soles and includes a soup plus the main plate (e.g. white rice and a quinoa plant mixture). You charge 1 or 2 soles extra for removal containers, so bring your own if possible. The owner speaks English. I ordered the menu del dia, and for only s./3.50 (about $1.50) had a really delicious lentil stew with yuca and a plate of beans and rice. The menu didn't include a beverage, but they do have juices and other drinks available.

FEBRUAR 2023 • The doors were closed when I arrived on Wednesday at 7 p.m. I'll try to go back here to check. Restaurant next door, Tintaya Cafe, had a good offer of vegan and non-vegan hamburguesas and sandwiches with beautiful jugos de fruta.
