Mother India - Cairns

It was a bit of a wait, but it was definitely worth it. The chana masala and garlic naan were the most delicious I have ever tasted.

Originality indians who are not fat or fat like other stains. beautifully presented dishes. perfect and plentiful garlic naan and excellent vegetarian selection, plus many tasty chicken and lamb dishes. if they would recommend to get their extensive menu on their website, so people can order phones more easily. friendly and attentive staff. we have gone back since the discovery of mother india and always have a great eating or taking experience.

My man and I always eat here at least once when we visit cairns. we love it. very friendly service, nice eating and obviously liked by locals. yes, the decor is a little dated, but eating is divine.

Not usually adventurous with my palette, but wanted authentic Indian cuisine outside my favorite butter huh so ordered the medium heat huhn korma and the man ordered the mild han tikka masala with garlauch naan and it was perfect. full taste, the medium was enough to create a light sweat, but not unpleasant. I'm really glad I've expanded my taste experience and I'm so impressed. great service and fantastic date night with the hubby

Mother India is hands down the top Indian restaurant in Cairns, and one of the best I have had the pleasure of dining at outside of India. I am shocked by some of the negative comments I have seen here, as they do not align with my own fantastic experience. The owner and his family run the restaurant more as a passion project, resulting in exceptional food and service. Treat yourself and dine at Mother India!
