Bidra med feedbackI was pleasantly surprised to find that this cafe offers a variety of vegan options that are clearly labeled on the menu. The staff was well-informed about vegan cuisine. I tried the jackfruit, barbecue sauce, and vegan cheese toastie, which was delicious. I also enjoyed the vegan hot chocolate deluxe (topped with marshmallows and cream) and a vegan blueberry and almond cupcake. The cafe has a beautiful view overlooking Loch Goil.

We were excited to try this place after reading some good reviews about their toasties. We visited on 01/10/2022 and were disappointed to find that they had a very limited menu with only one vegan option. The food is not made on-site, but comes pre-made from suppliers due to kitchen restrictions. We ended up sharing the only vegan option available between the two of us. The portion size of the drawn heifer burrito was very small. We also tried a shed vegan hot chocolate, chocolate orange cake, and lemon cake.
The staff at this restaurant are extremely friendly and accommodating for vegans. The vegan options are clearly labeled and you can also customize dishes to suit your taste. I tried the falafel cheesy pita and it was delicious. They also offer vegan cake and the view from the restaurant is amazing.
We had high expectations for this place after reading some reviews about their toasties, etc. We visited on 01/10/2022 and were disappointed to find that they had a very limited menu with only one vegan option available. The food is not made on-site but instead purchased from suppliers due to kitchen limitations, which is understandable. Unfortunately, there was only one vegan option left, so we shared it between the two of us. We ordered a pulled oats burrito, which was quite small. Additionally, we got an oat latte, a vegan hot chocolate, chocolate orange cake, and lemon & blueberry cake. The restaurant is situated in an amazing location, making it worth the drive, but we would only recommend stopping by for a drink or a slice of cake and to enjoy the view. It may be wise to call ahead to inquire about vegan food options. The owner was very friendly, but it was disappointing that the food options were so limited. We would consider returning if the food options were to improve.
