We even went back a 2nd night just so we could have the pork (which needs to be ordered the day before). Very reasonable also for such a special location.
One of the rudest restaurant experiences of my life. Me and my mother turned up, introduced ourselves to the waiter, and asked if they had space for 2. He turned around, pointed at the empty restaurant (approx 2 out of 40 or so chairs taken) and said we are full tonight, you can 't come here while smiling and gesturing at the empty chairs. We asked him for a recommendation of where else to go and he didn 't help us. This was a real let down – we had driven over 20 minutes to find some local food and saw the positive reviews. We were both well dressed, but did not speak Italian. I can 't think of any other reason why we were refused entry so rudely clearly they do not like foreigners.
Absolutely recommended to tourists who would love to try the typical Sardinian cuisine like at home. Excellent experience.
I'm so glad I wanted to eat here. I just walked from this place and decided to sit down. From the outside the place does not look like that, but it is worth it. The food is traditional Sardinian cuisine. The mirto I had in the end was perhaps worth the whole station. Food was excellent. The view from the road beyond the city is wonderful. Finish your meal and then sip your mirto while sitting on the wall and chatting about life with your friends.
Very friendly and helpful place. Amazing starter and roast pork!
