The Travellers Rest - Caerphilly

The Christmas lunch at this restaurant was incredible. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We were able to enjoy drinks by the cozy fire, which added to the festive atmosphere. It was well worth the price of £78 for three courses on Christmas Day. The excellent service here always keeps us coming back. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic and comes in large portions! There is always a variety of meats to choose from, as well as a selection of self-serve vegetables. The staff is friendly and the prices are average for the area. Additionally, there is free parking available.

Lovely meal, very friendly and accommodating staff, nice outdoor space to sit out in after your meal. Definitely recommend, will definitely be returning. Lovely family friendly atmosphere

Cracking breakfast, Amazing staff, and a great location. Will 100% be back for breakfast and an evening meal.

Surprised to find two lovely vegan options here: Cauliflower curry rice and hand cut chips or nut roast, hand cut chips, peas and gravy. Unfortunately, not dog friendly though.
