Soup and curry of the day and also great burgers. Loads of atmosphere and quirky surrounding. Friendly staff bi lingual English / French owner.
Ok, first thing. It's busy and so it should be. Don't be put off, any good restaurant should be busy especially on a Friday night.Stood waiting for a table we were passed by plate after plate of various meals, and some onion rings that looked particularly good. Pleased that there was a very original selection of vegetarian meals. All the meals were excellent, original dishes with a little bit of French twist which made them all the better. (And the onion rings were fantastic).Desserts, well I wish I had the cheesecake, tried the wife's and probably one of the lightest I've ever eaten.If you like good food with a little bit of originality all freshly made then choose here.The main downside to our visit....the portions are too big!! I now need to be rolled out of the door!
We stopped here on Sunday evening for a few beers and a meal, Mark the manager was a delight, the staff enthusiastic and friendly, service excellent and the food of a very high standard. A gem of a find
Dolly is fabulous, so friendly and down to Earth. We visited here with our 4 grown up sons and she made us all feel so welcome! She's English but speaks fluent French too - great fun but very basic food!!I can highly recommend the desserts though ;)
