Bidra med feedbackThis looked perfect. Tables in the shade of trees on a hot evening. We needed a meal, so asked when the kitchen opened. We were told 9pm, which was fine as we had 20 minutes to have a drink first. At 9pm, the waitress took our order from the menu del dia. We were happy. At 9.45pm the waitress returned to say that our 2 starters from the menu were not available. By this time, the bar was packed and we had to re order instantly otherwise we wouldn 't see the waitress for another 15 mins. The starters came out well after 10pm. The 'panache of vegetables ' was a pile of frozen, over cooked veg and the soup tasted from a packet. The mains followed in due course and were cold and frankly poor, tasteless food. The 'cod ' was 90% bones with tinned tomatoes on top. By this time the bar was so busy and the staff simply could not cope and it took 30 minutes to get the bill. The dining area was understaffed and poorly arranged. Every table was stacked high with dirty glasses and plates and every table was waiting for service. I know that eating late in Spain is the normal, so that wasn 't the problem. It was just terrible, chaotic service and the worst food I 've had in Spain.
