Jardin De Ulloa - Cáceres

We stopped here for lunch on Easter Sunday. The setting is stunning and the service was fast, efficient and friendly. We had the Degustacion menu and every item was perfectly presented and delicious, and the price was very reasonable. We would definitely eat here again. Highly recommended.

We began with ice-cold cokes outside, served with little nibbles. When the sun began to evade the umbrellas, we moved to the well-air conditioned indoors to blessedly comfortable seats at a table, rather than at a nifty bar overlooking the square. Waitstaff was excellent, as was the food: gazpacho, served with little flakes of jamón ibérico, and a solomillo of pork with crunchy bits of paprika and sides of beautifully fried potatoes and baby spears of asparagus. Excellent, and topped off with a home-made walnut brownie with vanilla ice cream and caramel. Well priced (a bottle of Marques de Cáceres was 16€ , friendly, and delicious food and clean restroom. We'd make this our first stop on our next trip to town.

We stopped here for a drink. It was lovely to have some shade from the sun. It was very quiet and at one points we were the only customers. The barman was very friendly and the G&T was so refreshing. A lovely place to relax in the old town.

En un entorno insuperable, en el corazón del casco histórico. un gran lugar para comer, cenar o tener algo con precios no muy altos para la ubicación que tiene. El único pegamento que puedo poner es que pedimos el pastel de atún rojo y fue muy bueno pero lo pusieron sin tostadas o piquitos o algo similar a acompañar. el tipo de plato, por la soja que contiene pide acompañarlo con un poco de pan y en todos los lugares que hemos pedido que ha servido con tostadas crujientes. Pedimos tostadas o algo similar para acompañarlo, pero ponen pan, que no era malo, pero hace un plato tan rico perder puntos.

Lugar súper tranquilo para desayunar o tener un aperitivo. situado en un espectacular lugar de cerros, junto a los jardines de ulloa y la plaza San Jorge, vale la pena tomar algo aquí. el personal es muy amable y los desayunos son muy buenos. Lo recomiendo.
