Bidra med feedbackI tried this cafe a month ago. their fish n chips were delicious. then I took my daughter and she loved it. then I went with my wife and all my children on Saturday morning. I ordered another fish n chips and I told myself that this can ever be my favorite cafe first, and we ordered other dishes and drinks. Once we were served, I realized after eating the half of the fish that it was a bit thick in the middle and it was not cooked inside. it was also cooler in temperature. They were here twice for the 10 dollar steak. eating is quite fast and is also good quality for its cheap price. I asked both of them for a medium, but in the way, it's a bit more overcooked than I would like. but his still good :
Before Cafe Rise this busy John St corner of Cabra was the location of the council's CCTV office. When that got moved to the new $13m Police Station, the new owners turned it into an old style cafe. It's had several owners since but the common denominator was zinging against the zapping of multiple pho and Asian restaurants. Here you'll get fish and chips, burgers, shakes, banana bread and cafe sandwiches. Mornings are pretty popular with cigarette wielding locals sipping coffee. Cheap prices with good portions. $10 steak, chips and salad is awesome!
I was most distressed to find that my regular morning cafe (which I will not name) started making truly craptacular coffee.
