Scott Damien's On the Lakes

Food was great, desserts to die for. Service fair, easy to find and plenty of parking, nice atmosphere.

Came here for a birthday dinner and wasn't very impressed. Staff let us know it would take about 40 minutes for mains but they came an hour later. Ordered one steak and a different one came out, another meal had a piece of a dish washing scour in it. Was excited for Saturday night cocktails but they were made with fruit syrups rather than fresh ingredients. The service staff tried to make things better but unfortunately they just seemed inexperienced and didn't know how to service recover. Won't be dining here again.

We had the pleasure of returning to Scott Damiens for Dinner again after a previous experience wasn't as pleasant as we had hoped.We are happy to say that this time our experience was much more inviting and delicious then the time before which I am happy to say.Food was delicious and service just as good.The only minor gripe I would have is the price of meals are just a little overpriced but all in all our experience this time was pleasurable....

I would like to just add that my recent review was a not so impressive one due to a dissapointing dinner but I would like to say the reason we chose to dine here was because of the good reviews we have had and it has been some time since we dined out here so we had high expectations..... To be let down by that was what made me feel disheartened and very dissapointed .. I would just like to say that perhaps the reason we where not impressed with our dinner was due to unforeseen problems behind the scenes with food and chef over burdened. We are willing to give Scott Damiens another try and I am hopeful that we will be impressed next time.I also would like to thank the staff and also the email response to me in relation to our dissapointment and to say thank you to Scott for that and we will take up your offer of dining with you again and accept your dining voucher .... And look forward to seeing you in the near future thank you Karin

My friends and I had dinner at this restaurant tonight. We ordered 5 different meals, all of which were delicious and unique. One meal was specially prepared to accommodate a special dietary need.
