The Usual Suspects - Cabo San Lucas

Alberto, it was a pleasure to meet and talk to you. I loved your place more than any other I visited while in Cabo. Perfect corner spot for looking out in the marina, people watching and good company. Besides, who can't admit they've never been "a suspect"? Thank you!

Everything is overpriced and not that great. Beer which is $2 at almost every bar in Cabo is $5 there. I mean, really, a Pacifico is a Pacifico, a Tecate a Tecate---why pay more than double???? Food was average and, again, more expensive than most other casual marina bars.

Great bar ! Always empty though ! If you drop in. Drink margies they are almost as cheap as the $ 5.00 Pacifico beer ! Bar tender is great ! Most bars around the marina are no more than $ 2.00 US for a beer and a lot offer 2 for 1 beer ! I hope the owner will do the bartender a favour and lower the beer prices to get a crowd in and give the bar tender a chance to make some tip money !

Stopped there after a boat ride this past weekend. The bartender was wonderful and funny. Ended up staying there for about 4 hrs. On the menu they stated the best cheese steak sandwich south of the border or something like that and they were right. It was delicious.

We brought our fresh Mahi-mahi catch in to let the professor of Cabo cuisine take it from there. We ended up with 3 of his signature dishes from Ceviche' Verde to Acapulco style grilled. Very friendly staff and great open air bar right on a corner of the harbor where the boats pass through! Chill-axin' in Cabo with a laid back and causal atmosphere!
