The Date Shake is very good. Not too sweet with a fine date taste. You have other vegan/vegetarian options. But for a shaking break on a long journey this place is great! #Veganuary

The Date Shakes are a MUST! In addition to a great small place for food and drinks, they also have a store all kinds of different nuts, candy, candy in fruity flavors, and other essential road trip snacks. They were not really crowded and also had large clean bathrooms!

Reliable prices. Great choice. Date Shakes are delicious. Panini machine didn't work and that was the only bummer. Maybe the owner will consider having more than one if he breaks or not. The market has a variety of products. Some novelties. Good wine selection. Food bags cost $0.10. Bring your own bag. But hey, what's a dimm? It's worth it. Just wait for order.

Definitely come here... Nuts, Honey , jellies and jam's, souvenirs, fresh pressed juice... So many goodies. Don't leave without a Date Shake, better yet buy two or three. We bought one and we should've bought two! Can't walk out without spending minimum $50

A great place to stop when traveling thru the desert on Interstate 10. The bathrooms are clean and clearly marked. If nothing else you must try the date shakes, with or without bananas. (I prefer without. You can get a meal if you like. The store is filled great choices. Dried fruits and nuts. A bakery. Great candies, cheeses and produce. It's a must when traveling this stretch of California highway.
