Bidra med feedbackPie had no meat in it! The gravy had a decent flavour but there wouldn't have been a full tablespoon of meat in the whole pie. Cakes looked amazing but the test of a true bakery is their basic pie, baked fails that test badly.
Most of the food is decent but the pies are overpriced but the wait time for anything is unbelievable. Having one person serve ten people while another just shuffles things around in a fridge isn't the best practice. Also gave me the wrong sandwich.
Food hot but service from the young lady was icy cold with eyes rolling and heaving great sighs before we even opened our mouths to speak, felt like telling her to go out the back and have a glass of water and chill for 5 minutes and try again. Otherwise I'd give the actual food a 4 to 5 . If she's serving behind the counter next time I go in there I'll be going to the Kent Street Bakery.
It was a nice little bakery, very busy with friendly staff. The pie menu appeared limited with only 3 being on the board however that could have been due to the time of day I visited. I opted for a chunky steak pie and a mint slice. The pie was nice, although there were hardly any steak chunks which was a little disappointing but with that said the mint slice more than made up for it. I would visit again.
This is the regular go-to for coffee post-workout when we hit the 5 am class. They always look after us so well. The kids love it here for a snack after school too.
