The Welcome Chippy - Bury

Love going here for family treat. Get so much for your money and it's lovely traditional English chippy kids love it to. I would eat here all the time if I wasn't watching the waist line lol. Highly recommend

This chippy has to be the Best In Bury without a doubt. Tompson 's chippy claims to be Best In Bury but compared with this gem, it 's way over-priced for what it is. A regular portion of chips there will set you back £2.20 whereas here, it 's £1.40. Did I mention that the Tompson 's regular portion is smaller than the small portion at the welcome. Did I also mention that at the Welcome, you 're actually made to feel welcome instead of just having your money taken off you without a thanks or a smile? Try it, you 'll be glad you did

If you want traditional fish and chips with no frills this is definitely the Best in Bury also on the menu are a good range of Hollanders pies. You can recognise a great chippy when you see a queue outside before opening time every day. Forget the Chinese go traditional and enjoy real chips

Excellent chippy food is to die for may it be the hot chip shop food or the cold food of the lovely sandwhich bar inside the chippy,your never stuck for a choice of food it may be a tiny chippy/sandwhich bar but it serves the food youl find in an whole superstore..freshly cooked to perfection,owned by a lovely married couple which is nice and friendly family oriontated and very helpful,if i send the kids up to the chippy and they forget the order you can always guarantee marylyn will no your order..

Does exactly what it says in the tin. Proper old school chippy. Always busy so get there early, especially on a Friday
