Bidra med feedbackGood parma, beautiful and big, lots of sauce and bee and thick juicy bun. brow chips. my friend had the laughs and it was perfectly cooked. crispy skin and soft and juicy through.
It takes a lot for me to write a review. we cannot describe how bad this place is. if they survive the unbearable wall of zigarette smoke that hits them in the face while they go into the premise. they turn left and then faced with a restaurant that is actually quite beautiful, unfortunately can look foolish. at the moment I sit here, where I have given up on my veggies, who have given up on my rock-hard pork (if you threw it on the floor, it would crash.) I wonder how a restaurant could calculate so much for eating that is so bad. When you come here, my advice, steak commands so far, it's the only good thing we ate here. even then, that's hit and miss. last time I sat in the bar...read more
The atmosphere and the decor is great! it is amazing what it was this place in comparison to what it was before. personally, I think they should forget about the fine restaurants, table service experience and focus more on it a bistro. the table service feels so funny in a pub. Eating (especially the pizza,) is top notch a little expensive, but they can say they use premium, fresh ingredients.
We used to frequent this place twice/thrice a week since the refurb, recommended to friends and family and brought lots of people with us but, after a few months the service and food started to flag. Still we kept coming because 85% of the time the meal was really good. Service kept deteriorating orders missed, drinks forgotten, food not cooked well etc.Staff are run off their feet and only a couple are friendly. The head chef makes a good meal but the other cooks barely reach average. Overcooked steaks, stodgy boscaiola with no flavour and burnt pizza. The best on the menu is the tuna carpaccio because it has the best dressing. Often the specials which run for a period of time ...read more
This has become a family favourite. It's local has a great menu and the blackboard specials always exciting. The service is warm and friendly. The food is always fresh, served hot and yummy. The only thing to fault is the wine list. Very sub standard selection and over priced, but not the restaurants fault. Would be good to keep some pub classics on menu fish chips, steaks and Parma, for those who dont want restaurant quality food. Seafood hot pot is sensational as are the pasta dishes, but it's hard to pick just one favourite. I recommend this place for a great casual dinner.
