La Vecchia Osteria - Burscheid

My friend and I met here for an excellent light lunch. The place is a bit outside in the sticks and we both drove here separately and parked in the free parking next to the restaurant. We sat at the table... outside on the terrace and were quickly served by a jovial character that helped create a friendly and informal atmosphere. We adhere to fizzy San Pelligrino mineral water and chose from the special items on the board. I went for the delicious baby calamris. When we waited for our food to arrive, we had fresh bread with olives and aloli and a small part of exquisite, ultra thin sliced parmalate ham. We didn't have much time for this lunch session. But we both agreed that we should bring our respective families back soon.
