Old Xian's Food - Burnaby

We are hunting biang Biang noddles in the metro Vancouver, so feel excited to find one nearby. The noodles met our expectations, but the whole bowl was way oilier than what we had had from the different restaurants, and my husband’s stomach felt upset after that. When we finished the food, an inch of oil was left in our bowl. The burger tasted plain. Good thing they take credit card if you purchase more than $15. Food: 3

This establishment will not serve you if you do not speak Chinese. The cashier looked like she hated me for trying to look at the menu and shooed me away and said I shouldn’t order from this place. Meal type: Other Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This restaurant is a hit or miss for me. Ordered online and in person. I have tried many dishes here. Sweet Sour Pork, hot sour pork with rice, cumin lamb noodles, spicy oil noodles with tomato and egg the list goes on 21st Nov, whoever cooked was great. But 22Nov, the food was sub-par and the sweet and sour pork was only sweet. So, Kudos to the chef who can cook and do better to the chef that cannot. The only reason I keep going here is they got hand pulled noodles and it hits the spot sometimes it’s like a coin toss..
