Bidra med feedbackThe McDonald's at Metrotown has been a staple for as long as I can remember. When I was young, it was a go-to spot for my Hamburger McNuggets and the two food items on the menu (there were only two back then... until about 2002!). However, as I have grown older, I have visited this location very rarely. With so many food options at Metrotown and McDonald's on practically every corner in Greater Vancouver, I decided to give it another try to sample the "Spicier Scotch Bonnet McChicken" and the "Spiciest Ghost Pepper McChicken". Unfortunately, I was informed that they were no longer available, despite still being advertised on the McDonald's website. I ordered the six-piece Chicken McNuggets and small fries, both of which were satisfying and met my expectations. The fries were hot and salty, while the nuggets were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Overall, the food was standard for McDonald's. While I am disappointed that I missed out on the spicier sandwiches, I am also relieved as I may have avoided disappointment. If you are familiar with McDonald's and enjoy their food, you will be pleased with this location. Please consider hitting the helpful button if you found this review beneficial.
I waited a long time to order at the counter and there seemed to be a language barrier. The girl didn't understand that I just wanted a regular tea (English breakfast). I asked someone else and was told that they only have flavored teas, like orange, green and peppermint. I should have just gone to McDonald's. The food was alright, but didn't compare to meals served in the USA or England.
The restaurant is very clean and serves delicious, hygienic food. My companions and I stopped by for some hot coffee and ice cream. The staff were efficient and kept the place tidy. They offer complimentary newspapers and also sell them to customers. The restaurant is popular among both old and young patrons. They give out vouchers to attract more customers in the area, and also give stickers with each cup of coffee purchased. These stickers can be collected and placed on a card provided by the restaurant; after buying six coffees, you can get a free one. Despite being located on a busy road, the restaurant is quiet inside. They play pleasant and popular music. The restaurant has utilized hedges and plants outside to make it appealing. They also offer takeaway and delivery services.
Typical McDonald is only in British Columbia instead of the USA. The food was just as good and the staff were super nice and friendly. It'll be back.
