Dairy Queen/Orange Julius - Burnaby

I have attempted multiple times to use my gift cards at Dairy Queen, but every location I have visited - whether it be at Metrotown by the food court, Metrotown by Superstore, the mall location, or the Kensington location - has told me that their machines are not working and cannot read my gift card. It is frustrating that this issue has occurred at multiple places, and I suspect it is because they already have our money and now cannot provide the product in return. This is disappointing and unfair, and as a result, I will not be purchasing a Dairy Queen gift card again. It feels like a dishonest practice.

I took my family to a restaurant to celebrate Mother's Day and ordered some ice, but they got my order wrong twice. The manager gave me attitude when I tried to specify what my son wanted and accused me of not being specific enough. He even rolled his eyes when I asked for the price difference. There were no apologies, no manners, and no customer service. The restaurant was very badly managed.

The building is very old and the restaurant is extremely dirty with dirty tables. There are too many untrained young employees working there. The ice is good, but I was put off when I saw the employees biting their nails and handling my ice at the same time. I'm sorry, but no thank you.
