Beer Garden At The Farmhouse Tap Grill

Quite frankly, the best Fish and Chips I've ever had. (And I've had a lot. The service and atmosphere were quite good too.

We were seated quickly for brunch yesterday and the menus looked good, but that's where it ends! Our server was friendly, but obviously over whelmed... the food took 1 hour to arrive (we should have left), and when it did it wasn't good (looked like it would be great). Two of us have been sick throwing up and with the runs since yesterday afternoon... I recommend you NOT eat here... sorry this is one of my few bad/awful restaurant reviews in 10 years, as most restaurants are fabulous... I don't like it that I have to leave an awful review, but this was earned... and I would want to know when I look at reviews.

First time there, and the vibe was spectacular, with a patio up front and a patio out back with some live music in the background. The weather was also amazing the evening that we had chosen to go. And then afterwards we walked through Church St. which is like only a block away, and The Boardwalk is also walking distance if you'd like to take a walk by Lake Champlain. The food, however, was a different story!! Being vegan, I had ordered the black bean burger and I felt like some of the ingredients such as the sweet potato were undercooked! I'd say my favorite thing overall was their mustard, which tasted very unique compared to other mustards I've had in other restaurants, I know its sounds weird that I'm bringing up a condiment as one of my favorite things over there but its what jumps to mind!! If nothing else, I'd at least check it out and experience the vibe cuz it is so Vermont imo!!!

Very good service and staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. I'd walked by once before and it looked crowded and didn't try it. Today I thought I'd give it a shot. Got seated quickly. I ordered the salmon entree. The salmon was cooked perfectly tender and juicy. My only criticism is the asparagus had pieces that were overcooked. The interior is a little small with a nice bar. Bar had some empty seats but they were a little close. Otherwise this is a great option for some good food. Menu is varied with great options .

We came on a beautiful Tuesday night and had no problem securing an outdoor spot. The waitstaff were kind and helpful and the food was delicious. Being gluten-free, I got my burger on a bed of kale instead of on a bun. I also got a salad instead of fries and had plenty of greens to go around, as you can see from my plate. My burger was absolutely delicious.
