Great service, delicious food, beautiful surroundings. A favorite of us!

The restaurant was full. The waiters and waiters were overloaded, but very much. The salads were absolutely delicious. (The beet salad, and the couscous, arugula, salad. The Calamari appetizer was delicious and came with a great sauce. My Bolognese Pasta excellent! I was there with five other women, and everyone loved their entrées. We also loved the bread. All in all, it was a very positive experience. The only thing I'd warn is that when it's filled with people, it's extremely loud and hard to hear, or even if you're sitting at a round table opposite each other.

Our sever was amazing. It has been awhile since eating at Il forniao as they closed in SF. The menu was delightful with a variety to choose from but not overwhelming. I had the bolognese, which warmed the belly and the soul. The afogato for dessert was the perfect end to the evening. Love it! Will be back soon!

The server forgot two items on our order. The food was served tepid. My husband became ill in the middle of the night and has been sick all morning. Will not return.
