Forty Two 20 Beach Cafe & Restaurant

Came here after a walk around Burleigh Hill and the National Park. Just at the bottom of the hill, and I was there early so there was the benefit of plentiful free parking before 9am.The service was fast and friendly and the poached eggs were nicely done. Close to the beach with nice atmosphere.

Ordered breakfast and coffees. Breakfast arrived and were advised our coffees would be another 10 minutes, would we like them in a take away cup so we can take them with us. I like my coffee with my breakfast not after to take away, that's why you ordered it with your breakfast. One coffee arrived and when we enquires about the second coffee with the owner of the business were given excuses and then told it was our fault because we moved tables. Interestingly one coffee found its way to us . The owner stated it unrealistic to expect your coffee with your breakfast theses days especially when they are so busy. Another couple asked about what happened and I was speaking with them, the owner came over again was very rude, and told us to leave. We did and won't be back.

Better than expected cafe in old cinema complex Burleigh Heads, Goodwin Terrace. Small but close to beach, good meals which were cheap ! Had a bacon and egg on Turkish for $9. Good coffee and friendly service. Cafe fills up with sunshine at sunrise. Recommended

Delicious food and friendly efficient staff, can highly recommend. We had bruschetta with bacon and the vego hash stack and two zesty c's yum

Had a late breakfast with views to Burleigh Beach (through the rain).Chose the Big Burleigh Breakfast and was not dissapointed. Whilst it was a typical guys breakfast, bacon, eggs, sausage, hash browns, mushrooms, etc., it was neither greasy or oily and made it really enjoyable to finish.The stand out was the coffee. There are numerous coffee outlets in the area which i have tried them all, however the coffee i had from here stood well above ALL the other locals.
