Viva La Pepa - Burgos

Not impressed with their dishes, more like a fast food type restaurant, located in a prime location and the service was OK.

Good mix of tapas, favourite was salmon and prawn ceviche with mango chutney. They would have got 4, but kept telling us croquettes were on the way, then said we hadn't ordered them, so we had to complain and then they did rectify (at 8Euro this was more expensive as other places).

We went to Viva la Pepa to get something different and based on seeing good reviews for hamburgers, etc.We sat down and were able to order quickly. The goat cheese salad and chicken tikka masala were very good. The kids enjoyed the smoothies. We ordered more rice and he forgot about it until we asked again and they were almost done. My husband’s french fries were luke warm. I ordered the Pepa hamburger and when it arrived it was uncooked inside. We called to he waiter over and said it was “al punto.” It was not medium rare it was rare/raw inside and I sent it to cook to medium rare. It came back a well done piece of coal as per picture. He did not offer to make another one and we requested the check.
