Bidra med feedbackWe were at the beer garden of the Bavarian Alm on 29.06.2012.
Mr. & Mrs. Reisinger are the very friendly people who run this restaurant/hotel. After attending a birthday party, we went back the next day to have dinner. They immediately recognised us (out of 45 people who had attended the party the night before) and welcomed us back.We had delicious Sweinworsteln and Kartoffelsalad out of a very rich choice of typical Bavarian and Austrian dishes, best enjoyed with a lot of beer! The desert however was outstanding; Keiserschmarrn, which are pancakes Austrian style. A lovely sweet tasting desert from which you cannot stop eating.Eating at Reisingers Bayerische Alm is a great experience and I'm confident that staying there in the hotel is equally great. The service is very friendly and personal. The view from the Biergarten is breathtaking. From the garden you look at the Burg (the castle), which is the longest in Europe.Romantic? Definately!Worth a detour? Absolutely!
This is one of our favorite places to eat at in Burghausen. I recommend eating outside if possible where you will get one of the best views of the Burghausen castle. I recommend you trying the Zwiebelrostbraten. It is is tender steak covered with marinated onions and is my favorite dish. The other thing that makes this place so special are the fantastic owners. They are very friendly and make you feel at home.
