Terrace Lounge - Burbank

We went there by chance to celebrate my cousin’s BD. It was on a weekend so we got the set menu, which includes mediterranean/Armenian hot/cold appetizers and various bbq meats as an entree. The appetizers were quite tasty and you get a variety. The food was served throughout the evening. We especially enjoyed the freshly baked, worm bread. The restaurant was fully booked for other events like birthdays, etc. so it was packed. The entertainment was the highlight. The DJ played really good music. People danced and had fun. The service was not bad given that they had so many tables to serve. The waiting staff was friendly and helpful. Overall it was a great experience. Will definitely go back again.

Very loud horrible service. They missed 4 food items didn’t compensate us

I visited the Terrace three days ago after making a reservation approximately 10 days in advance for a meeting with a friend. Upon arrival, we were informed that they had a fixed menu for the evening with a set price. The restaurant consists of two spacious rooms, and we were seated in one of them. However, I must express my disappointment with several aspects of the experience. Firstly, the service was incredibly slow, and it proved quite challenging to get our waiter's attention. This became especially frustrating when my knife accidentally fell, and I had to wait a significant amount of time before I could request a replacement. Adding to the discomfort, we were seated uncomfortably close to the loudspeakers. Our evening took a turn for the worse when, during the course of our dinner, the restaurant abruptly decided to play deafeningly loud music. To make matters worse, a group of customers, seemingly celebrating a graduation, started dancing, making it impossible for my friend and me to carry on a conversation for a good half hour. Despite our attempts to flag down the waiter, they failed to visit our table, leaving us unable to request the check. After enduring a considerable wait, we decided to leave and settled the bill at the reception of the restaurant. As the tip was already included, we did not leave an additional gratuity. On a positive note, the quality of the food was good, and the portion sizes were satisfying. However, I must mention that the drinks were disappointingly small in size. Overall, my experience at the Terrace left much to be desired. The slow service, lack of attentiveness from the waiter, excessive noise, and inability to hold a conversation hindered the enjoyment of our evening. The fact they had another room, that was quieter, and we made the reservation so early, was another bummer.

Definitely not a place for an intimate late night date, but if I were wanting to go out with a group for late night dinner and dancing this would be great! The prix fixe menu was delicious, and was so plentiful we were surprised it was so inexpensive! They added gratuity and my husband added more to the tip just because. It was fairly loud, but also we were eating at 10:00pm. A club-like atmosphere is to be expected. Definitely would be interested in trying this place again at an earlier hour.

There was no hostess or anyone to receive us when we got there. We tried talking to a bartender who seemed like one of the three people working there, and he seemed surprised we were there. We ended up leaving because no one talked to us or engaged us in anyway, nor did we see anyone to talk to
