Bird Box Chicken Wings, Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Tenders

Went here with friends while waiting for our gokarting rounds at the k1 near by. There was just one lady holding the place down. She was extremely kind and gave one of us free water.The food was good, all of us were happy with what we got. A lot of options on the menu for flavors. It took a while for it to all come out but we had a good time.

Small, growing franchise chain specializing in chicken wings and tenders. I met the franchise owner one afternoon after searching for a chicken sandwich convenient to the 5 freeway heading north through Burbank. He was friendly and helpful, informed me that many of their dozen or so sauces were house made, particularly the lemon pepper. I got the sandwich with mango habañero sauce and he gave me no problems about subbing mozzarella sticks for the fries in a combo meal, which was very reasonably priced (California prices, that is... . The mozzarella sticks were actually amazing, perfectly fried, with a really good breading and even a little...idk, 'juicy ' seems like a weird word to describe fried mozzarella, but it must have been some perfect combination of temperature because some kind of dripping that didn 't *feel* like grease or oil (but kinda has to have been dripped out with every bite. The sandwich wasn 't huge but not small either, the sauce was good, and overall the experience was very satisfying for the price, convenience, speed of service and nature of the business. The location is just a hole-in-the-wall, suitable for a work lunch, but I would visit again and will try the chain elsewhere if I come across it again, too.

For a place called the Bird Box, it almost stopped me in my tracks that the first thing I saw outside the door was a standee advert for a Hamburger. Anyhoo, stepped inside and perused the menu board and was discussing it with the very polite and attentive employee. Settled on 15 bone in wings with 3 different flavors. it was probably the fastest wing order I 've ever had fulfilled, so I grabbed it and took off from home.The wings were average size, the flavors were there, but I wouldn 't call them 'flavorful '. They had a nice crunch and overall they were fine and I think their prices are reasonable for today 's marketplace.

The staff at this location are very welcoming and friendly. The wings at this place are delicious. The lemon pepper is my go to for my wings and as a side item I live their loaded fries.
