Quay West - Bundoran

I had a wonderful stay at the amazing hotel. In my opinion, this hotel deserves a perfect score of 10 out of 10 in all areas, from the friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous staff.

I was extremely unsatisfied with my dining experience at this restaurant over the summer. We waited for about an hour for our main dishes to be served, and by that point, I was feeling very hungry and frustrated. The restaurant was busy, but I believe better management would have made the experience smoother. The woman in the blue/black dress, who I assume is the manager, seemed incompetent at her job. When our food finally arrived, the portion sizes were disappointingly small. As a seasoned diner, I have been to busy restaurants where timely service is never an issue. We paid our bill of 100 euros and left without any gesture to encourage us to return.

We had a fantastic meal with a wide variety of gluten-free options, which was perfect for my granddaughter who has had difficulties finding suitable restaurants in Bundoran.

As soon as we walked into the hotel, we were greeted warmly by a very welcoming restaurant manager. Every member of the staff gave us exceptional service during our meal. The dishes were tasty and reasonably priced. We will definitely be coming back.

I had a negative experience at the restaurant. I ordered a salad as my main dish, but it only came with meat and lettuce, and the chicken was very dry with barely any sauce. I asked the manager if I could have some tomatoes or something to add to my salad, and also wanted to order another drink. The manager said they would check, but never returned. They continued to walk past me without acknowledging me, and another waiter eventually brought me the bill and took away my unfinished food. I asked the waiter if I could speak to the manager again, but they ignored me and kept walking past. I left feeling hungry and frustrated, as all I wanted was another drink and maybe a tomato. The other staff members were pleasant, but the manager was not attentive.
