Bidra med feedbackSIAM SIAM is unquestionably our go to place for THAI cuisine in the suburbs. Originally, I AM SIAM , owner sold and has since been reinvented; all for the GOOD . Food quality is at the very least as good as we remember from I AM SIAM . Very nice people owning and operating this new location. I can readily say that anything on their menu would be an excellent choice. I don 't say that about many restaurants of any nature. And, I must also say that considering the size and quality of their portions, their pricing is a real bargain, considering how inflation has affected most other restaurants.
We just enjoyed lunch in Siam Siam and will definitely come back. Our hunt for good Thai foods has been disappointing so far, so we were pleasantly surprised to find this place in an inconceivable strip-mall. It is adjacent to the stripe mall that Rivaj is in, that is another favorite of us. During my studies I had a unique opportunity to live in Thailand for about half a year. Once you are exposed to Thai food, you are constantly looking for the bright, balanced aromas that make it so unforgettable. In this sense, I applauded this place for keeping authenticity in their food, while I made obvious adjustments for the western palate. Papaya salad is the best Papaya salad we had outside the city. Loved the fullness of whole peanuts (as some crushed) and the depth of taste in the fish sauce. Definitely recommend! Pad Thai (with Tofu) I had stellar pad Thai on the street markets throughout Thailand, so it is hard to find one here that compares. This version was a pretty good date. The sweetness meets you first, with a hint on spices (we order our medium). I was afraid it might be a little too sweet, but contrasted with the tangy Papaya salad, it was pretty good. I would definitely order again. Thai Beef Noodle Soup, if you have been in Thailand, you will know that there are some things better than the noodle soup. The broth is like a warm hug, and you long it even on hot days. Siam’s beef noodle soup was the right balance of aromas in a bowl large enough to share. It is not Pho, but has similar properties. Both my husband and I were not so sharp on beef, it was a little chewing, but the broth and noodles were good. Basil Fried Rice (with seafood) the amount of seafood in this dish was impressive, huge wrinkles of soft squid, shrimps, scallops (small), and fake crabs (which I can live without) were perfectly cooked in tasteful rice, basil and a prominent fish sauce base. My husband really enjoyed it that I was too full to try it, but will enjoy the remains. It is so pleased that it is a good Thai place outside the city. Thank you for taking a little walk. Thai Memory Lane with these dishes. We will definitely try again!!
Had a taste for something else. I love Thai Curry, but decided to try something else. With the chicken balloon. There is a spicy sauce, it was mostly on the ground when I came home. I like spicy, and that was strong, but don't burn your mouth. I give 4 stars because there was no vegetables in the dish and it was not consistently cooked. Most had a soft crust, a crispy crust. Will definitely go back and try something else. The staff was friendly and efficient.
Hands down the best Thai I ever had. My husband and I come here a lot and every time we bring someone with us, they love it too! Eating is great, servings are big, and prices are amazing. Love this place!
We ordered Cashew chicken and basil fried rice from the lunch menu, both were amazing. It came with a soup and an appetizer that were really good.
