For years we were good customers of the Ratskeller even the wedding party of a family member was booked here two years ago in the barn and also celebrated... (with the corresponding revenue for the now self-esteeming and little customer-oriented boss the customer is king? Surely not! Today (4.11.2018 we are totally disappointed. The steak is good, but the salmon is not by and moderate, the pommes just greasy and bad. The roasted potatoes mostly burned. We share this without making any substitutes. With Schlemmerblock we are still second choice customers... As a family anyway! As a family, our child's children's plate in the Ratskeller still counts as the most favourable main dish, which makes our Schlemmerblock simply superfluous and the inadequate services of the Ratskeller everything else than legitimate! We don't buy a slinger block anymore as a family and will never visit the Ratskeller again because pride comes before the case!!! Too bad Mr. Chief of the Ratskeller, you should perhaps not forget that the customer is always king, because hopefully you decided in your business. If not, please all those who read this current review, do not visit or book this location if they have the same, or similar experiences as we do. This is the only way we can see Mr Ikarus.
We were with friends in the Ratskeller, ambience inside is “goes as” as always tastes are different but... For food; had ordered scavengers with pumice and sauce, dressed the food in a pan on a wooden board, looked very good! Unfortunately, the taste followed and my scavenger was very tough, it was hardly possible to cut it, even throughout the taste was not special ... unfortunately again we will not go....
Great atmosphere, and at least if Carsten himself cooks fast and delicious. Today. Of course, it's more fun.
We liked to go to the restaurant. But unfortunately the quality has decreased significantly. (Note: Even at our penultimate visit we noticed the deterioration, but we wanted to try again in February) We were visiting this month on a Friday. Unfortunately, the service personnel are apparently not trained. We didn't get napkins or beer lids. The candle was also lit for demand. Cutlery has often fallen from the service. We have been eating Rumpsteak for years, but unfortunately the meat quality was not good at all. The cooking point was very different for all Rumpsteaks (3x) although we had ordered all the medium. In addition, the Rumpsteak is quite small and the price for such quality is unfortunately not justified. The ambience is great and the drinks really delicious. We find it very bad and hope that the restaurant will be the old again.
