El Mazacote - Buenos Aires

Not quite the normal Argentine pizza (the pan with dough loads) but not entirely Italy (the crust with a lot of sauce). That was pretty thin, lots of cheese and not much sauce. It was the best pizza we tried in BA. Would be more beautiful... to have more sauce and less garlic, but a really good pizza no matter. The price was also really good and its only 95 pesos for 1/2 wine.

We enjoyed a delicious pizza here after a morning trip with BA Bikes. It was not too cheesy Italian style. The service was excellent and the price is correct.

Title says everything. Had the best Hawaiian pizza and this place. Great friendly atmosphere. You know the food is great, but I didn't have to wait so long for my pizza. At the bottom, they don't serve frits, Papas in this restaurant... Olives do not belong on a Hawaiian pizza

I've been trying pizzerias in Buenos Aires for the past couple of weeks and El Mazacote is the first that I would not return to. Why? I got a slice of muzzarela and it was: thin crust (surprising to me and salty, quite salty. I...absolutely love Pizza Pirilo (I LOVE Pirilo's fugazza con queso!! at 821 Defensa and am fond very of Pizza Guerrin on Corrientes. La Americana on Corrientes and on Callao is quite good too. El Cuartito on Talcahuano 937 is good, but not a favorite. This is not a horribler pizza. It's just not worthy of more than 3-stars when compared to other pizzerias in Buenos Aires.
