Asador el Mangrullo - Buenos Aires

Business meetings? perfect location huge parking, private sphere, easy access, decent prices. sweetbreads and sausage, asado and flank steak, coca cola with nice business partners. the meat was very good, so we spent nice hours eating and drinking!

I had a good quality bife de chorizo steak here so no complain. the standard service was also friendly and the Malbec wine covered all small peccadilloes that have occurred with a degree if not a veneer of flair!

There is no other place to eat near the airport, so here we have eaten two nights in a row. in the first night we ordered the act mignon. we wanted it juicy and it was so dry, another second and I would have used it to cut my shoes back. the waiter wasn't very good either. in the second night we ordered the sucking pig. should have been tender and it was again extremely dry. they really need a new parrillero. the waiter in the second night was very good.

The locals eat here, so they should. I enjoyed a very delicate and perfectly cooked rib-eye steak. the carrots were spiced and went well with the steak. there are other things on the menu, but why interfere when the steaks are big

We came here as part of a tour with Tauck. Tauck usually chooses really excellent restaurants for their tour groups, but this one was a REAL LOSER. The steaks served to everyone at our table were more then well done, and when I asked for...another cooked medium rare the waiter ignored me. I asked the manager and he sent an uncooked steak to the table a few minutes later. I mean the center was cold. He did the same to another guest at a nearby table. The salads came to the table family style without serving pieces and when requested...none arrived. Chorizo was disgusting. No coffee was offered even though it was included with the meal. But, what do you expect from a tourist trap at the back of the Holiday INN.
