Bidra med feedbackRestaurant akira in the opposite of Nunez by buenos aires. I love sushi and have eaten it in different parts of the world. this was the first time we were presented by a sushi fusion kitchen and the experience was exceptional. a mixture of arome and textures we thought was from this world. as a courtesy of the restaurant we got as an appetizer, ceviche and a fresh sorbet of the strawberry. we ordered a tabla salmon with 25 pieces let them select the sushi they want to try. this allows them to try on the safe side with some traditional sushi’s and daring enough to create new combinations such as salmon, guacamole and lemon ceste or tempura of spring onions, tortar of salmon and lachs floambé, or salmon with cream mango and maracuya honey. this joy we have combined with an excellent chardonnay. the best sushi
I had made a reservation in akira a few hours in advance, and at my arrival I was told that our table was almost finished. instead of leaving us in the driveway, they led us into the bar where they gave us every free drink and a free sushi appetizer. after sitting, the owner came to make sure that we were comfortable, etc., and my friend (who had been there before) told him about a roll he had tried and loved here before. the owner without hesitation treated us on this roll without charge. I ordered the vegetarian roll that was not disappointed; eating was delicious and we felt as if the staff really tried to give us the best experience possible. I can't wait to go back! abby say hueque argentina adventure
As usual, I'm a sticker for the real thing. Fusion is not my thing. On average, like so many Japanese restaurants in Buenos Aires. I wrote a review of Yuki where the food is authentic.
We love sushi. And we love fusion cuisine. We went to this restaurant. Excellent service, minimal waiting time, but food has a strong taste of cheese, not cheesy. Good wines.
Everything worked. I celebrated my birthday, and to start with I was received by Matías Chaufan, the maitre´d. Food was excellent in quality (and quantity), accompanied by a bottle of the world renown Argentine malbec wine. We area planning to return!
