Bidra med feedbackLooking for a place to have a late breakfast, we found this sandwich shop. All sandwiches are freshly prepared, very tasteful and very cheap. The coffee and cappuccino were also good, so everything in all we really had luck finding so... place. I would really recommend it!
Walking through the streets of pretty Buenos Aires we stumbled over this small place. They serve freshly made sandwiches, empanadas and tartas. We just wanted an empanada that tied us over the food. There were some people inside, so it made us think it was a good place to eat. We were right. They heated our Jamon Y Queso empanadas and we sat outside on the bench to eat them. There was delicious and cheap! At 15 Pesos, they were a little over a US dollar. They could have sold them for 3 times the price, and it would have had an excellent value. Flaky pastries and a good filling amount. I had empanadas with hardly any filling in them, but this place doesn't touch it. So glad we came over this happy little find.
Best food in downtown Buenos Aires. The place is always busy and the food is always hot. I miss this place.
I have many times at this Av. De Mayo 818 and eaten in the shop on Tucuman 463 near Florida Walking Street. Made to order sandwiches with all fresh ingredients served on white or wheat baguette style bread. Delicious, fresh salads and homemade soups. Also...tasty tarts (quiches), and baked empanadas. The staff is friendly and service is fast and efficient. Eating is just for taking, so perhaps this is a reason that prices are lower than you would expect to pay fresh food for such good quality!
