Hummus Bartok Bela Street - Budapest

They have a beautiful sitting area outside next to the road, just note the sometimes heavy meat odour from the not so vegan-friendly restaurant next to the door come:” I chose the complete hummus plate (with cheeksen, mushrooms, falafel and pita brot and it was very delicious! for me the ratio between hummus and falafel/bread was honestly disproportionate. I couldn't finish all hummus, I guess I needed at least one more pita brot or two. it is very filled! the personal was friendly and fast, they speak English and accept credit card payments.

We had the complete hummus shell and it was a great experience. the hummus was super creamy and the falafel balls were perfectly crispy and soft inside. Although we enjoyed it, it seemed a bit boring. we would recommend it as there are many vegan options, very nice and clean place and friendly, English speaking staff.

As far as the options go, hummusbar is pretty good, there are several places throughout the city and we ate at a few of them. the falafel bowl is very fillable, but has not much in the species of veggies. the falafel pita sandwich is delicious and has some beautiful greens included. even if the prices are very good for the amount of food.

This place served meat, but there are many vegan and veggie options that fill out and delicious and inexpensive. there are two around the city.

Very small restaurant with focus on fast food preparation. However, the food is great and you can also sit outside. There weren't many costumers during my visit so I can't guarantee it's always that quick! Updated from previous review on 2021-09-27
