Mainstreet Landing Restaurant

We visited this restaurant at the end of October, during the off season. Our server, Angel, was very friendly. We only wanted to share an omelette and had no issues with it. The staff in the kitchen was very accommodating and the omelette was delicious. They also offered unlimited coffee, making it a great experience overall.

The dining experience was good, although not outstanding, but diners will not be disappointed. The beer was enjoyable. The service was adequate, although I overheard a staff member mentioning they were short-staffed, so it was not entirely their fault. This seems to be the norm these days. I was irritated by the preset tip options when paying, which were 20%, 23%, 26%, and 30%. In the past, I typically tipped 20%, but now that servers in Ontario are paid $15/hour, I believe 15% is a suitable minimum tip, with the option to tip more for exceptional service.

It has been a year since I last visited this restaurant. My daughter and I had a great experience, thanks to the updates that have made it look fun and inviting. The staff were wonderful from start to finish. They mentioned they were short staffed but still managed to provide excellent service. The staff were friendly and did a great job. We enjoyed our drinks, appetizers, and entrees, with the spinach and artichoke dish being a standout. Our dog even received a bowl of water at no extra charge. We highly recommend this restaurant for its great service and welcoming atmosphere. I just wish they had room for dessert.

Fantabulous artichoke dip, but the service was terrible. about an hour to get our food and when we sat, it took at least 20 minutes to ask for our drinks. they have made practically all our commands wrong. not very good. experience

We have been to this restaurant a couple of times and the outdoor atmosphere and friendly staff can't be beat. The prices are definitely on the high side but we understand their season is short. My husband had the Steak on a bun and thoroughly...enjoyed it. I had the Beef Brisket on a bun and although the meat was tasty, both sides of the bun were smothered in mustard. It was absolutely horrible and totally spoiled my meal. Even the waitress commented on the excessive amount of mustard that I scraped off. If you have the brisket tell them to go easy on the mustard or order it on the side. We will go back but just really disappointed this time.
