Lockside Fish & Chips - Buckhorn

The batter on the fish is unique and very good. Service was slow but the fish was worth the wait. The view of the canal and the outdoor patio made for a pleasant evening.

I was new in Buckhorn and was driving with family towards late Sep 15. It was around dusk but it started raining and atmosphere was pretty dark, cold and quiet. We reached the Lakehurst road not sure where to find a good restaurant. Just then we saw this restaurant next to Marina. We parked the car and went in unsure as to how the place would be. To our surprise the restaurant was pretty busy but the hosts were prompt and looked after the guests very well. There were a number of items on menu, we preferred the fish (Salmon) items and they were all good. The ambience was very nice, both inside and outside. Overall it was a lovely experience. There is an ice cream parlour next door probably run by the same family. Do have an ice cream there after the meal and also don't forget to have stroll down the quiet Marina. Very serene and worth a memory.

I visited this restaurant while staying at a friend's cottage. It is a lovely dining spot with a fantastic patio and indoor seating.

We have visited Murphy's several times in the summer and we really enjoy it. The service is very friendly, the deck has a nice view overlooking the Fenelon Falls locks, and the food is pretty good.

The view is amazing, the food is good, and the drinks are decent. It's an improvement from the last restaurant I visited. I would definitely come back for a cozy meal at this cottage spot.
