Las Gemelas Mexican Food - Buckeye

We are always on the hunt for the next best Mexican restaurant, ever since our favorite Mexican restaurant closed in Scottsdale. I love the friendly lady that greeted me once I came in that always goes a long way to make you feel welcome. They do have a drive thru but I like to see new places for myself the first time I go. I went in for a California Burrito which was not on the menu and the lovely lady said she can make it happen. My girlfriend wanted a bacon and egg burrito. I would definitely go back! I’m a big spicy food fanatic so I think I would have appreciated a more spicy salsa than your typical green and red “filiberto’s salsa”. The horchata is really good and sweet not at all grainy.

Loved their good! The gentleman that helped us was very nice and helpful! Their food is better than filibertos by far and with one son having severe allergies to shellfish they made sure his food was safe! Definitely going back and we definitely appreciate them!!

Ordered food for pick up for the 3rd time now. This is a little hole in the wall restaurant that I’m glad we tried! I was greeted by a friendly young man. Food was delicious! Favorites are the green Chile burrito and beef enchiladas. A must try if you haven’t! Great prices, delicious food!

Very unprofessional and rude. Have ordered from here three times and all three times our order was wrong and items were missing. When I called the store I was told maybe I should come pick up the order myself then, lol. Also, the employees have friends picking up orders and messing them up/ keeping items for themselves. Girl on the phone straight up told me my dashers boyfriend actually picked up the food because he’s her friend. And the same dude didn’t deliver our food. Sucks, the food is good but the service is horrible. Not coming back.

Place has amazing artwork. Love the pictures of my lil cousins on the cups. 4/5 stars bc their wasn’t any music playing. Vibes were off. Menudo was on point.
