Modigliani - Pasta e Carne - Bucharest

On the ground floor of Intercontinental, very centrally located, this restaurant is a top choice in Bucharest for pasta lovers. Serene atmosphere, great plates, great wines and good service.

We went here for my friend's birthday and I don't have enough words to express how well we were. Alexandru and the team were fabulous; they even sang Happy Birthday for my friend. Great place for a nice evening. We come back and recommend it in any case.

The restaurant is clean, spacious and has a very friendly service. The lady who served us was beautiful. Stiff prices actually. Try the Romanian Rose Brut; surprisingly good! The Carpaccio was really good, but the slowly cooked pig tasted and smells too intense. The Ravioli was well prepared, but tasteless.

I love the food here and was a very pleasant experience. Everyone is very friendly and very welcoming. I will visit this place by my stay in the intercontinental valley

Well..... I have been here before and the food was much better. This time is was very mediocre.... I had the calimari and then a rib eye steak. Calimari was ok but a little soggy in the batter and then the steak was a bit grissly and not a great cut of rib eye. Even though I requested medium it came on the med rare side and possibly why the fat had not melted down as expected. The pricing is very high for the quality is my opinion. Wine was good and so was the service. £70 for the experience is 30-40% too high for the quality.
