La salul cel negru - Bucharest

I went there because i heard there is a nice program , whit live music . the place is small but very nice . the menu is a little restrictive but the food was very good .

Friendly staff. The food menu is not very rich but it has something for everyone. Good selection of wines. Excellent place for enjoyable meals and wines.

We went with friends to this restaurant just by chance. We really wanted to see a "Russian singing show" and discovered it will be performed in the restaurant from 10 PM. So, we decided that we will first have dinner and after we shall see the performance. And it proved out to be a good decision. The restaurant, despite the fact that it is not located in the very best area of Bucharest, is nicely decorated and it has a new concept for Bucharest. Namely, all that is inside is for sale. And I mean furniture, lamps, ash trays, plated, glasses, pictures ... all! Coming to the food, it was amazing! the menu is not very rich but the food was excellent and this is much more important than having an impressive menu but not a tasty one. We has for a starter the coquilles Saint Jacques and as a second course some had veal fillet, some had small rooster in a garlic sauce and some had the salmon. I can't describe all the food, but it was really tasty and the price was correct. After we descended to the basement where the show started in a few moments. An unpleasant surprise was that the organizers made a last minute change in the program and the performance was somehow "amateur" one, but finally the quartet that replaced the original performer had a lot of temper and we enjoyed the evening. So, as a conclusion I would certainly recommend the place.

Haven't experienced something like this in Bucharest yet! Nice entourage, excellent food, good service! It is a new restaurant and gherefore not very busy yet but I hope it will be soon! Absolutely worth it!
