80-90 Gastropub & More - Bucharest

This is an ingenious 80-90 theme pub. they have good burger, beautiful music, with middle trips. Outside there is a large terrace where you can stay when the weather is beautiful. in each room you can see various decorations regarding 80's and 90's years. they also have a Romanian board game that dates back to 1984: turism is something like monopoly, but all the players are tourists who travel in cars around Romania. Now is very hard to find this game because it is no longer produced.

This place is just like the 90s. the wall the tables, chairs. even a few drinks I would say and the menu is really funny not crowded.

I've been to this place not once, not twice....I can't even remember the exact number as when you arrive there, you simply lose track of time. It is a cozy Pub located in a nice and quiet neiborhood located near Piata Universitatii and once you...pass the main gate you feel like all your childhood memories are more alive than ever. It is a place where you can easily meet with friends for a drink and play your favorite board game or you can schedule a business meeting but in an environment where you feel comfortable as everything looks natural and friendly. The staff is well prepared and ready to give you all the information you need and the food is absolutely amazing....I tried all the pasta in the menu and I still can't decide which I love more. To conclude....this Pub definitely has to be on your go to list in Bucharest!

Once there will be back. I found something from a friend. the atmosphere is very beautiful, it reminds them of their childhood. it is an intimate place to hang with their friends and play board games. we ordered mostly burger (cheeseburger. and bacon cheeseburger,) carbonara pasta and Greek salate. all were good, not great. burgers also had riders who were warm, not hot as I was expected. the staff was very friendly and nice. each should pay them at least one visit to see the facility.

To start with, I'd like to commend them on both the decor and atmosphere of the place, friendly staff and good location. We heard the burgers here are amazing, so naturally when we first got there we ordered a variety of burgers. First issue: the food arrived more than an hour later after we had ordered. (which is ok for other food, but burgers are quick to make and more than one hour is not justified) Second issue: the fries that came with the burgers were cold and, ironically, slightly burned. Also, however small this problem is, the burger meat was quite spicy despite no mention of that in the menu. Other than that, the food was good, not great. Other things on the menu might be better. Third issue: apparently this is one of the rare few "pubs" in the city that ask you to pay to play the boardgames they have. Not only that but you have to pay 10 lei per person to play, which can become a problem in you're in a large group as you end up paying more than the actual cost of the games you're playing. In a city where you can go to several places to play boardgames for free and have a drink, I find this bad practice. Overall not bad, but not great. There are better options.
