El Chivero Restaurant & Bar - Bucerías

Wait they take the tres forever to take their order after their food arrives, not to give up anything else, they will not come back to their table, like limettes, drinks or anything else, if they catch their attention their food will be cold before they come back

We were at this place years ago and decided to stop during our last trip. eating was good and cheap and the beer is still served cold in an eisimer at 150 pesos. they have some very beautiful remodeling....They have created a larger “indoor” dining area by removing the large staircase down to the beach. they have completely new washrooms that are now very open, bright and clean. we would recommend this place and would definitely return.

Fantastic restaurant on the beach in bucerias. every Sunday goes a group of us and spend all day. eating is amazing.

It's hard to beat the value and food offered by El Chivero in Bucerias. One seats within a few yards of the breaking waves while enjoying a flavorful seafood meal (steak also available) and a few beers (seafood empanadas and the shrimp aguachile were excellent)....The prices make this experience hard to emulate.

We were a group of 6 and arrived about 4:30. It was too busy. We selected a table on the beach. Great view! Service was okay but slow at times. One of our group ordered the crab soup and the wait seemed very long but,...the soup was delicious. We also ordered coconut shrimp (excellent), bacon wrapped shrimp (average), fish fillet (very good), arachera (average) and octopus (average). The menu has a good selection and prices go from reasonable to expensive. I believe it is cash only.
