Bidra med feedbackCame for the Wine and Roses Festival as a Texas Renaissance Festival Ambassador. This was my first experience with the festival and being to a winery. The grounds are well kept and my companion and I didn’t run into a wine we didn’t like! It was great getting to walk through the cellar! That cute path with the pond was a dream and added such an amazing ambiance. The Private Stash Gewurztraminer was my favorite of the day! Ran into a lot of new wine styles I never knew about. I do think the chocolate and wine tasting could have been a bit better but we were at the 4pm tasting and I’m sure everyone was feeling good and a bit rowdy lol. We definitely want to do this every year now! sipping on some Beau ask I write this!
Went to The Vintage House for my birthday dinner with my parents and it was EXCELLENT! Our waiter, Francisco, was amazing!! He was very attentive and kind, and made the experience even better! He was very knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations! We will definitely be coming back and asking for him!
What an awesome way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Met the owners, some really cool, down to earth foks, got a tour and tasting of some great wines. Really did learn something about wines, tasting several, and the whole process, and finished the day off with an excellent rib-eye cooked to perfection. Great friends. Good food, and some excellent vino. It doesn't get much beter than that!
Everything was good. Savannah was a great server. Eating here is a must when you come. It is pricey, but the food is worth it. Be prepared to spend $50 a person. Highly recommend doing the packages where you get the chefs table and a night stay at the Villas. When you do this package you get a free bottle of wine at dinner. Check online for it will be the best value. Must get the tomatoe basil soup!!!!!
My post vineyard tour visit to The Vintage House was a wise decision. The wait staff was pleasant and efficient. My vegetarian meal was excellent.
