Bidra med feedbackThe chicken fried steak was delicious, but the chicken and dumplings tasted more like soup and weren't hot. The beef tips had a lot of mushrooms but not much meat, although they were very tasty. The rolls were amazing and the tea was great. The server was a bit soft-spoken, possibly due to the loud music making communication a little difficult. The restaurant could use some improvement in the cleaning department. Despite these issues, I would consider giving it another try because I think it may have just been an off night. I have dined here before and had a very nice experience.
Kelsey was our server and she was absolutely amazing, very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our questions. She gave us very quick and attentive service without making us feel rushed. Will be coming back for her to be our server!!!
We had dinner at Cotton Patch in Bryan last night. My wife ordered a delicious cheeseburger with hot fries, while I went with the Chicken Fried Steak. The food was excellent and the service was great. It's a nice spot for a casual dinner and the prices were reasonable.
I haven't been to this restaurant in a while, but it was so good! I could have just had the fried green tomatoes and skillet cornbread and been satisfied. The patty melt was one of the best I've had in a long time - the patty was cooked perfectly and the cheese was melted to perfection. The side salad was cool, crisp, and refreshing. The fried shrimp and fish were perfectly cooked - not greasy or heavy. Our waitress was wonderful as well.
Past couple of times we've been there, the food is barely lukewarm. The same thing happened today. Order chicken fried steak, which was hot and pretty good. The vegetables are barely warm and just don't taste that good. I keep going back, hoping it will be different, but it's pretty much the same way each time we go. The service was always good.
