Bidra med feedbackI highly recommend having lunch here. The soups are scrumptious and the sandwiches are wonderful too! When I don't stop for lunch, I at least pick up a coffee on my way by...
What a wonderful breakfast experience on this fine Saturday morning. I walked into Cinnamon Jim's with no expectations and walked out already planning my next visit. Jim's is housed in a beautiful old building in Brussels and is a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. Period photos adorn the walls and antiques are scattered throughout. The wait staff was friendly and service was prompt. The menu was simple but with a little something for everyone-baked goods abound and although I didn't try any, they looked freshly baked and yummy! Our food arrived in good time and was plentiful. The bread was homemade and fresh, the eggs were cooked perfectly and the sausages were flat and round (as opposed to traditional breakfast sausages). Delish! During our meal, the waitress checked on us and Jim himself came over to make sure we were happy. We walked out full and content and planning our return. If you're in Brussels, you must try this restaurant. If you're not, it's well worth the drive!
My boyfriend gets food from here frequently and is always raving ... the food was excellent! We ordered the special, hot turkey sandwiches with cheese cauliflower soup - and also a wrap to go.The staff taking the order had to go ask someone else a question twice because she was unsure of what to do.To our surprise, the take out wrap came yet still no sign of our food. We were the only customers in the entire restaurant. When our food finally arrives after a lengthy wait, they had substituted a sesame bun since they were out of what I had originally asked for. I felt horrible having to send it back, however the whole situation could have been prevented by coming to me and explaining the choices that were available.Noone came back to check on us during our meal to make sure we were ok.I waited at the counter for almost five minutes trying to get dessert, and finally gave up even though staff had walked past twice. There were three staff working who were clearly paying no attention to the counter. The food was delicious and homemade but sadly the praise ends there.
Had a ball tournament here for my son and there was no booth selling food. Went downtown and found this little spot. Good variety of food and was tasty. Only thing was it was pricey for what we got. Three sandwiches for $30 no drink no side just the sandwich
Great coffee, breakfasts and lunches. Prices are a little bit more but good food. Nice cozy little spot.
