Bidra med feedbackWarm and trendy interior, nice welcome. But slow service, surprisingly small portions (we paid €22 euros to have the lasagna as a main dish, but it was not much more than a muse en bouche(! We had to ask whether there had been a mistake. The taste and quality was impeccable, but it felt overpriced when the portion was so small. For a lunch on a week day, not everyone has the time to do a three course. Then you should be able to get a decently sized main dish, no?
My squid was perfectly grilled and the combination with mushrooms and spinach was just exquisite! The service was very good, with excellent advice for accompanying wine. The younger lady had some difficulties with French. Nothing outrageous, though. I sat close to the entrance and enjoyed the traffic on rue Belliard and the sight on the construction site on the opposite corner. Nothing the restaurant can do anything about. Maybe you can better be seated further down the restaurant, where you have a very nice view on the kitchen and preparations.
Very beautiful decoration, smiling welcome, impeccable service, refined and tasty cuisine. I always come back with pleasure!
During our first visit to a rainy Brussels we were looking for a fun Italian food experience. Looking for such an experience was the place that came up, Gioia. We were warmly welcomed by Natalia and sitting on a special table. The mixologist made a special vodka martini and my wife had a white wine. From there we had an ingenious bean soup that was different than any we had! Then we ordered a beautiful bottle of red wine, followed by the osobucco raviolis and Sardine Pasta! Turned off with figs and roasted pear deserts! What an epic experience on a rainy night!
Excellent service! Friendly and friendly staff. The food was delicious. Definitely recommend.
