Bidra med feedbackWe dined at Papillon for the first time and were pleased with the fast service, although we found the portions to be on the smaller side. Despite the restaurant only having six patrons, it quickly felt full due to its small size. On our return visit on a Saturday, the restaurant was busier but not at full capacity. We experienced a bit of a wait for our dishes, including a mix-up with the garlic scampis ordered for my husband. The restaurant staff seemed a bit disorganized, with one waitress struggling with both French and English communication. Unfortunately, after an hour of waiting, we were informed that the clams my husband had wanted were no longer available, so he settled for spaghetti with seafood. When our plates finally arrived, the pasta lacked flavor and my ravioli with truffles was bland and sauceless. We ate out of hunger but were disappointed overall and do not plan to return. We found that mistakes were also made at other tables, further indicating a lack of attention to detail and slow service. We cannot recommend this restaurant due to the slow service, lack of flavor in the dishes, and small portion sizes.
We were looking for a new dining spot. Hungry and in front of the restaurant on a Sunday night, we decided to give it a try since the kitchen was still open. We quickly placed our order for a spaghetti bolognese and a spaghetti carbonara. After waiting for 45 minutes, our dishes finally arrived. To our disappointment, my bolognese had no tomato sauce and only a small portion of pasta, while the carbonara looked like scrambled eggs mixed with a greasy liquid. Despite the unappetizing appearance, we were too hungry to wait for a replacement. The food was reminiscent of a cafeteria meal from the 80s. Our advice: avoid this place at all costs.
We dined at The Butterfly once and had a good experience with fast service, though the portion sizes were small. Despite there only being 6 people in the restaurant, we waited for our food for quite some time. The restaurant is small and fills up quickly, giving the impression of being busy. We ordered our food but had to wait 30 minutes for the garlic shrimp (which tasted more like fresh cream according to the waitress) only to be told an hour later that they were out of seafood. When our plates finally arrived, the seafood pasta lacked flavor and my truffle ravioli was undercooked and sauce-less. We ate out of hunger but won't be returning. A good restaurant should offer impeccable service regardless of the number of customers. We noticed mistakes with orders at other tables as well. Overall, we do not recommend The Butterfly due to slow service, lackluster food, and small portion sizes.
We ate in the butterfly once, very well, fast service but little in the plate. It must be said that there were only people, so we didn't get past it one Saturday, much more people but not full. the restaurant is small so, quickly gives the impression of being complete. We were tables of order, waiting for scampis to garlic (for my husband) that did not taste garlic but with fresh cream (according to the waitress, it was garlic). one of the waitresses did not speak French and an approximate English. When the waitress comes to get rid of us, she tells us after in the restaurant that there are no more clams, to pass on to our arrival, my husband opts for spaghetti with seafood. After h, our plates finally arrive, the pasta with seafood had no taste and my plate of ravioli with truffles was not drained and without sauce. We ate because we were hungry but we won't return. a good restaurant must be able to provide impeccable service regardless of the number of people. We found that at other tables, the waitress was wrong with a dish! did not recommend a very slow service, not good and small quantity.
We wanted to find a new place. We're on our way, we were hungry. Sunday night, we go home, the kitchen is always open, we settle down. we get to order quickly, we make it simple: a spagheti bolo, a spaghetti carbonara. It's all right. minutes! Later, our plates land. We're looking at each other. Well, in my bologna, there is no tomato sauce, just boiling on grams of pasta, my carbonara looks like scrambled eggs with bacon, mixed with spaghetti that bathe in an unidentified fatty liquid but good, it was late, we were hungry, we didn't want to wait yet, or make a squirrel. We ate, a little, a few forks in fact, it wasn't good, not good, not good. he reminded me of a childhood memory, that of a school canteen in the years we think: avoid at all costs
