Bidra med feedbackI don't understand the 1 star reviews. This place was quite lovely. It wasn't more expensive than standard for Brügge. We got the mussels and fries with side salads, langostino shrimps, wine and beer. The service was lovely (the waiter was terrific personable, friendly and responsive) and the restaurant was cozy. The mussels were good tender and flavorful. The fries weren't the best I've had in Belgium but they were good with the sauce and mayo. Everything was fresh and good. We enjoyed ourselves.
Good food and reasonable prices. They did offer vegan and vegetarian options.
Don’t be fooled by the charming appearance... the saltiest omelet I’ve ever had. Tourist trap. Go literally anywhere else. Upped review from 1 star to 2 stars because the waiter was kind enough to run around looking for change for us.
This place looks nice and cosy from the outside. Inside it's a different story. The food is appalling. We ordered lasagne. There wasn't any pasta in it and what meat there was wasn't beef. It was a dollop of slush. The rib eye steak was very oily and complete with fat and gristle. The chips had been reheated. We left and went somewhere else. Don't Go There.
Cute fireplace, but what makes a restaurant the most unpleasant place to be in? The people who are working. It can be an average food, or an average looking but what is with people is that they are gonna make 80% of the experience when they are bad and 20% of it when they are good. The host was super rude and reacted quite violently when we decided to go away. A no-no.
