I came to town to work with my two kids for the weekend. I went to close in 2 minutes; I offered to go when I realized it (or take it to go). The owner, the family and the server told us we were fine. That wasn't the worst. Before we went to the order, I realized that I had no cash and a storm went through the city and knocked out all WiFi, that meant no money, no credit card. I told her I'm so sorry to waste her time, we can't order, we don't have money. They weren't here from my children, and I went hungry and said to order my food. I promised to come back and pay. We're fast and in box what we don't. They fed us, waited for us and treated us so kindly that they never know if they would get their money. My children were in shock with the kindness that showed us these beautiful strangers. We could trade across the street and get cash. Bless you that you show such goodness in my family age.
Excellent food great place. Waitress was friendly with the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen with a great personality
Can be a little hard to find and see a little worn but that's because it was an old skater drink. The owner spoke to us and gave us a short story. It was interesting. The waitress was great and friendly. The food was delicious! Pancakes just tasted my grandma from the cast iron. Hubby had steak and cheese and said it was brilliant with the perfect amount of everything on it. Next time we do it this way we will definitely be back! Breakfast all day.
We were on our way to Morgantown with two hungry kids and decided to not make the drive and find something local. There are not a lot of places to choose from so we ended up here. They have a very small dining area with maybe six or seven tables. The place was cozy and the staff were very friendly. The customers were even friendly! Getting our kids coloring books and crayons while the waitress went for our drinks. The kids had hotdogs and french fries while the old lady and I both had the rib special. Ribs, french fries, coleslaw and a roll. The homemade coleslaw was great and the homemade sauce for the ribs was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised with how tender and flavorful the ribs were. This place is definitely off the beaten path and in the smallest town I've ever seen but it was a good experience. The only complaint was from my son who didn't like the brand of chocolate milk they had, I'll have to agree since he is a chocolate milk connoisseur. If we are ever down this way again and looking for a place to grab a bite then we will definitely be back.
